Great Falls Children’s Receiving Home
Since 1966, the Great Falls Children’s Receiving Home (GFCRH) has provided an emergency safe haven for over 10,000 local children who have fallen victim to heinous acts of child abuse and neglect. Each year, approximately 200 local children (most from Cascade County) enter the doors of the GFCRH as they have been tragically victimized by an adult caretaker. The GFCRH provides comprehensive services to each child entering its doors. In the State of Montana, it is estimated that 3000 children are in foster care each year. Cascade County has the largest population of these victimized children, accounting for approximately 1/5 of all children entering foster care.
