Great Falls Community Food Bank
The Great Falls Community Food Bank began as a small pantry in 1982 and evolved into a central emergency food warehouse in 1987. They became Montana’s only Re-Distribution Organization for the Montana Food Bank Network and Feeding America in 2004. In 2011 Food4Kids was created establishing school-based pantries and the BackPack Program feeding chronically hungry students. To engage, educate and lead our community in the fight against hunger. The Food Bank is distribution warehouse serving 64 emergency food service providers in Cascade, Teton, Chouteau and Glacier counties.
Volunteers are a huge part of day to day operations as well as special events.
