St. Vincent de Paul
SVDP is dedicated to assisting local area low-income people in need, half of which are children and seniors. SVDP operates a Thrift Store, Food bank and Angel Services, which provides free items to people in need. Thrift store proceeds go to cover the over head costs of their entire operation. The food bank serves the poor in assisting them with food and general items of necessity. The food bank distributes an average of 28,000 pounds of food to an average of 600 families each month. Their Angel Services gives away clothing, Household goods, and Furniture to those in need. Applicants need to apply through Opportunities Incorporated to get a voucher to shop at the Angel Store.
