Big Brothers Big Sisters has been serving children in Great Falls since 1976. Big Brothers Big Sisters seeks to provide positive, professionally supported mentoring relationships for all children who need or want them. These relationships contribute to better schools, brighter futures, and stronger communities for us all.

Big Brothers Big Sisters provides one-to-one mentoring in 2 main programs. Our Community Based Program provides youth with an adult community mentor who spends at least eight hours per month doing activities in the community to develop pro-social behaviors and broaden the horizons of the youth they are matched with. The School Based Program matches high school and adult mentors with local school-aged children. The matches meet one day per week for an hour and spend half of their time working on academics and half of their time working on building pro-social behaviors and friendship.

Clubs open their doors every day during out of school hours. They provide a safe, fun , supportive environment with caring, adult mentors, that is full of opportunities to keep their members engaged. Volunteers are needed in many capacities throughout the club including: driving, light janitorial work, mentoring youth, sharing skills/talents, teaching games, playing with and spending time with members and cleric support.
