Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

RSVP is a federally funded program under the Corporation for National and Community Service. The corporation also funds programs such as the Foster Grandparent Program, Ameri*Corps and Vista. United Way of Cascade County is our sponsoring agent. RSVP has been connecting volunteers with opportunities for more than 40 years. Actively recruit and engage citizens 55 and older with volunteer opportunities in our community.

We partner with local organizations to help recruit and match volunteers with the right project or position. We work on recruiting volunteers for a variety of programs as new needs emerge in the community and connect volunteers with different opportunities. Our goal is make sure that anyone 55 years and older that would like to volunteer has the opportunity to do so and the support they need.

RSVP recruits and places volunteers 55 and older in area non-profits and proprietary health care organizations. Our own volunteers help us with events, recognition, mailings and recruitment of volunteers.  By volunteering with us you will have impact in many different organization by helping them to keep a full roster of volunteers, be a part of numerous events and help keep a support system for older volunteers in place.
